'Tonneru no Eki’ (Tunnel Station) in Takachiho Town is located at an altitude of approximately 390 meters.
This area is surrounded by the majestic Mt. Aso and the clear waters of the Gokase River.
A mysterious landscape woven by nature and human activities unfolds here, and it is also known as a land of myths.
A disused tunnel, reborn with a new breath of life, gathers local shochu distilleries and products, creating a hub for sharing culture and information.

There's a mysterious tunnel shochu storehouse, a unique free rest area that makes use of a train, and even an impressive steam locomotive exhibit.
